Make sure that the power of the PC and the camera are
turned off and the lens barrier of the camera is closed
before connecting.

Connect the communication cable to the computer’s serial
cable as shown on the page 142.

Open the connector cover.

Align the arrow mark on the communication cable plug
with the camera’s connector. Insert the plug and push it in
as far as it will go.

Open the lens barrier to turn on the power.
