Menu setting method
Auto Power Off
If the recorder remains in stop mode for over
10 minutes (Initial setting), the power will be
turned off.

Select [Auto Power Off] from the
menu on the [System Menu].
Time & Date
Refer to “Setting time and date [Time &
Date]” (☞ P.29).
USB Settings
Refer to “Changing the USB Class [USB
Settings]” (☞ P.96).
System Standby
The system standby mode allows you to
switch off the display without turning off the
power, while the recorder is not operated.

Select [System Standby] from the
menu on the [System Menu].

Select the [On] or [Off].
[On]:
System standby will be set.
[Off]:
Disables this function.
• To restart from system standby, set the
POWER/HOLD switch to on. The recorder
quickly recovers from system standby.
Notes
• The recorder uses battery power in system
standby, so be aware of the remaining
battery level.
• When [Auto Power Off] is not set to [Off],
and [System Standby] is set to [On], the
recorder automatically enters system
standby mode when the specified time for
[A
uto Power Off] is reached.
• System standby mode is effective for
a maximum of 24 hours. When the
maximum time is exceeded, the recorder
automatically turns off.

Select the [minutes], [10minutes],
[0minutes], [1hour], [hour],
[hour] or [Off].
[5minutes] [10minutes] [30minutes]
[1hour] [2hour] [3hour]:
Set the length of time before the
power will be turned off.
[Off]: Disables this function.
Reset Settings
This returns the functions back to their initial
settings (factory default).

Select [Reset Settings] from the
menu on the [System Menu].

Press the + button to select
[Start], and then press the `OK
button.
[Start]:
Returns the settings to their initial values.
[Cancel]:
Takes you back to the [System Menu].
