10.4.5 Change the System PIN Code
A 4-digit system PIN code is used for changing the system settings of the
base station. It is used to protect your phone against unauthorised use.
The default system PIN code is 0000.

/ to select “BS SETTINGS“.

and / to select “CHANGE PIN“.

and the display shows “PIN?------“.
tEnter the old system PIN.

to display “NEW PIN?------“, and enter your new 4-digit
system PIN.

to display “CONFIRM?------“, and enter your new 4-digit
system PIN again.
Note:
If the new PIN entered in Step 6 is not the same as the new system PIN
entered in Step 5 you must enter the new system PIN at step 5 again.

10.4.6 PBX ACCESS
If you use the phone on a PBX that needs an access digit to get an external
line, a single digit can be set to dial automatically before any Phonebook
or Calls List number.

to show “CODE“, then enter your access digit (1-0) and press

to confirm it and activate the feature.
Note:
Press
to delete any access digit, and deactivate the feature.
10.5 Registration
Important:
When you purchase your phone, all handsets are already registered to
your base, so you do not need to register them.
Handset registration is only necessary when you buy extra handsets or if a
handset has become faulty.
