Requirements for using License Activation Base Functions
¾ You must prepare the followings to use the License Activation Base Functions.
z Firmware for i-Option
z Additional Memory: Additional Memory is included in Upgrade Kit (UK-201).
z Token Certificate: Token Certificate is included in License Kit (LK-101/102/103).
About upgrade of firmware
¾ You need to upgrade to firmware for i-Option to use functions of i-Option.
C650: DLBT0800064*
C550: DLBT0800065*
C451: DLBT0800066*
C353/C253/C203: DLBT0800114*
z About firmware version for i-Option and upgrade procedure, please refer to
“Upgrade Procedure to i-Option” in PRI of above CSES numbers.
z Without upgrade of firmware for i-Option, operation screen for activation is not
displayed on operation panel even if you purchase Token Certificate. Therefore,
you cannot use License Activation Base Functions.
z After upgrade is completed, please refer to “Activation Procedure” and perform
Activation of License Activation Base Functions.
Upgrade Instruction and instruction when using functions added from
i-Option
¾ Please refer to “Cautions” in the PRI of above CSES numbers.
Instruction for part replacement
¾ If you need replacement of NVRAM or Service EEPROM, please exchange it for new
one.
