Installng the NVIDIA MedaSheld Software Under Wndows
(for Non-bootable RAID Array)
The exstng Wndows Seral ATA drver must be upgraded to use the NVIDIA Seral
ATA drver.
Ths secton descrbes how to run the setup applcaton and nstall the RAID software
whch wll upgrade the Wndows SATA drver and nstall the RAID software.
Start the nForce Setup program to open the NVIDIA Wndows nForce Drvers
page.

Select the modules that you want to nstall. 2.
Clck Next and then follow the nstructons.
After the nstallaton s completed, be sure to reboot the PC.
After the reboot, ntalze the newly created array as descrbed n the next secton. 3.

Important
Make sure that the “NVIDIA IDE Drver” s selected. You must nstall the NVIDIA
IDE drver n order to enable NVIDIA MedaSheld. If you do not nstall the NVIDIA
IDE drver, NVIDIA MedaSheld wll not be enabled.
