S Place the linear axis with sufficient space f
and g from other machines etc.
Otherwise the cover profile cannot be
removed and will impede access to the
relevant parts for maintenance. This
means that in such cases the complete
axis would have to be dismantled for
maintenance purposes.

S Always place the guide rail 5 upwards
(see chapter Technical specifications").
In order to make this possible, the slide
has two identical interfaces for fastening
a load.
Only if the DG..−/FDG−/DMES−... −GA is
positioned horizontally, will the guide
rail reliably prevent dirt from entering.
The DG..−/FDG−/DMES−...
−GA does not
offer protection against dust particles
whirled up.
S Check whether shock absorber supports
are required for strokes shorter than the
rated stroke.
