deep,
the

by

one plane with the body of
the tube the outer diameter

The
dimensions
given
reflect the manufacturing
dimensions and tolerances
of the night vision device.
For the mounting of filters, magnification attachments, and cameras, connecting threads
on both the lens and eyepiece side are available. For the exact dimensions, see the
“Technical Data“, please. Depending on the thread used, the corresponding caps need
to be screwed off.
Attachment of an IR radiator (optional)
The IR radiator is supplied with an adapter for the night vision device. By means of this
adapter, the DOCTERspot IR radiator is stretched on the 1-inch outer diameter and
fastened with the integrated tripod screw to the night vision device.
Storage
In the box supplied, the night vision device can be stored watertightly down to a depth of
5 metres and transported. After transportation in aircraft, the box cannot be opened due
to the intermediate vacuum. In such case, pressure compensation needs to be caused
by pressing the knob on the front of the box. The box offers additional space for the
DOCTER IR radiator and the associated adapter.
Maintenance and care
Avoid touching the optical surfaces with your fingers and keep these surfaces free from
oil and grease. Clean contaminated lenses with a fine brush first. Use spectacles
cleaning cloths in conjunction with a commercially available lens cleaning fluid, if
necessary.
