This device is compliant with the basic (safety) requirements set forth in the EU
Directives.
Disposal of electric and electronic equipment (applicable in the countries of the EU
as well as in countries with separated collection systems only):
This device contains electric and electronic components and
must not be disposed into household waste. Instead, it has to be
brought for recycling to a collecting station especially provided
for such purpose. The batteries used for this device should be
separated from it and disposed of in conformity with the
applicable regulations either in retail or as special waste
(collecting stations). Such disposal will be free of charge for you.
For more detailed information, please turn to the competent local
authorities responsible for waste disposal. With your
cooperation in disposing such products properly, you promote
the reuse, recycling, and recovery of raw materials, whilst
contributing to environment protection.

Prior to the usage of this device and adaption of auxiliary
equipment, ensure to read the legal regulations applicable at the local site of
use.

Prior to the export/import to/from third party countries, ensure to ask at the
competent authorities about the legal/customs law-related regulations of the
relevant import/export countries.

In case of any further sale of the device, the seller is required to make out a
declaration on disposition and to file such declaration permanently.

This device is not intended for use on shooting weapons. Failure to comply
with this stipulation will exclude any and all warranty claims.
This night vision device is an observation unit and not intended for military use.
General notes:
• The development of this night vision device has been oriented on the ANVIS
specification in conformity with MIL-L-49426(CR) and carried out in
consideration of ISO21094. Therefore, imperfections (spots, stains, etc.) in
accordance with the internationally applicable standards are permissible. Such
imperfections do not impair the device’s function in any way.
• The DOCTERnightvision is a passive night vision device that, when used in open
terrain, intensifies for observation the residual lights of the stars, moon, distant
lamps, and towns. For use in areas with little amounts of residual light, such as
dense forests or closed rooms, we recommend the adaption of the DOCTERspot
IR for an active night vision device.
