1. R-SRC

Press this button to display the current operational mode on the front

panel screen.

2. MUTE

Press this button to mute the audio. Pressing the button again restores the

audio to the previously set volume level.

3. _/_ _

Press this button to display a search screen that allows the user to enter a

Title number, Chapter number or time value for a position on the DVD. A

keyboard screen also appears on the front panel..

4. Numbers 1 Through 0

Press these buttons to enter the numbers 0 to 9 for selection of CD tracks,

DVD chapters, and for various unit functions such as passwords and naviga-

tion settings.

5. ROOT

Press this button to access the DVD root menu.

6. CURSOR BUTTONS ( )

Use these buttons to navigate the menu selections on the screen.

Radio Mode

Press this button to select various frequency bands (AM and FM etc.).

DVD Mode

Press this button ( ) to return to the previous chapter or track. Press this

button ( ) to skip to the next chapter or track.

8. ZOOM

DVD Mode

Press this button during DVD playback to view a scene in a close-up mode.

Each time the button is pressed the picture will enlarge 1X, 2X, 3X normal

size. Press the button again and the zoom function will turn off and the pic-

ture will return to normal size.

Press this button to playback the DVD in slow motion. Pressing this button

consecutively will reduce the playback speed by one half, one quarter, one

sixth and one eighth normal speed.
