Recording a still image on a “Memory Stick”
(p. 122)
When you purchase your camcorder, the clock setting is
set to off. If you want to record the date and time on a
picture, set the clock setting before recording (p. 19).
Monitoring the still image on the LCD screen

Set the POWER switch to MEMORY
while pressing the small green button.
Make sure that the LOCK switch is set
to the right (unlock) position.

Press PLAY. The last recorded
image is displayed.

Do not pick up your
camcorder by the
viewfinder, the LCD panel,
the battery pack or the jack
cover.

Remove the lens cap.

Press OPEN to open the LCD
panel. The picture appears on
the screen.

Set the POWER switch to
MEMORY while pressing the
small green button.
Make sure that the LOCK
switch is set to the right
(unlock) position.

Press PHOTO
lightly.

Press PHOTO
deeper.

Viewfinder
When the LCD panel is closed, pull
out the viewfinder until it clicks.
Adjust the viewfinder lens to your
eyesight (p. 28).
