Adding/deleting a genre used for a component list
(DVD/CD/MD/DVR/DVDREC/HDAR only)
You can add/delete a genre used for a component list.
How ever, you can perform only this operation for a component list of DVD/CD/MD/DVDREC/HDAR.
Adding a genre
1.
Click the EDIT s w itch in the ce nte r of the w indow to s w itch to the EDIT m ode .
2.
Click the page that include s the LIST k e y you w ant to e dit from the Page tre e vie w on the le ft.
The selected page appears on the editor in the center of the w indow .
3.
Click the LIST k e y on the e ditor.
4.
Click the "Prope rtie s " tab in the uppe r right of the w indow .
5.
Click "Edit LIST" on the right s ide of the w indow .
The "Edit LIST" dialog box appears, w hich allow s you to edit elements of the component list.
6.
Click "Add" of "GENRE" on the right s ide of the dialog box.
The "Add GENRE" dialog box appears.
7.
Ente r the ge nre nam e you w ant to add on the right s ide of "GENRE nam e ."
Hints
o
You can enter up to 31 letters. How ever, you cannot enter the same text as an existing genre name.
o
You can add up to three genres.
o
You can copy and paste text in the text box of "GENRE name" display by using the shortcut menu (right-click menu) or by using the shortcut keys.
8.
Click "OK."
The display returns to the "Edit LIST" dialog box, and the genre entered in step 7 is added to the "GENRE" list.
Deleting a genre
Note
You cannot delete the follow ing genres:
Preset genre (CLASSIC, COUNTRY, JAZZ, POP, ROCK, OTHERS)
Genre used for a component list element
1.
Click the EDIT s w itch in the ce nte r of the w indow to s w itch to the EDIT m ode .
2.
Click the page that include s the LIST k e y you w ant to e dit from the Page tre e vie w on the le ft.
The selected page appears on the editor in the center of the w indow .

Click the LIST k e y on the e ditor.
4.
Click the "Prope rtie s " tab in the uppe r right of the w indow .
5.
Click "Edit LIST" on the right s ide of the w indow .
The "Edit LIST" dialog box appears, w hich allow s you to edit elements of the component list.
6.
Click the ge nre you w ant to de le te from the "GENRE" lis t on the right s ide of the dialog box.
7.
Click "De le te " of "GENRE."
The genre selected in step 6 is deleted from the "GENRE" list.
