This mode is suitable for
z Changing settings for ISO sensitivity, Creative Style, D-Range Optimizer, etc.
while using automatic exposure.

Set the mode dial to P.

Set the shooting functions to your desired settings (pages 106
to 146).
• To fire the flash, press the button.

Adjust the focus and shoot the subject.
You can temporarily change the shutter
speed and aperture value combination
while keeping the correct exposure
determined by the camera.
Rotate the control dial to select your
desired combination while the focus is
achieved.
The exposure mode indication changes to
“P*.”
