The Formats Preferences screen enables you to set the country default, and
the display format of dates, times, and numbers on your CLIÉ handheld.
Selecting a country default
When you select the country where you use your CLIÉ handheld, the
display format of the time, date, the week start day, and numbers is
adjusted. For example, in England, time is expressed using a 24-hour clock;
in the United States, time is expressed using a 12-hour clock with an AM or
PM suffix.
All your CLIÉ applications use the Country default settings. However, you
can customize your own settings for time, date, week start day, or numbers.

Tap Formats from the drop-down list on the Preferences
screen.
The Formats Preferences screen is displayed.

Tap the arrow V next to “Preset to” and then select a country
name.

Tap OK.
