Î Turn the main switch to position "0"
The operating type (recycling or inlet into
the drainage system) must be set by the
Customer Service mechanic at the time of
start-up.
The plant can be operated in 5 versions:
1 Operate with connection to the drainage
system
2 Recycling operations with high-pressure
cleaner
3 Recycling operations with high-pressure
cleaner and inlet into the drainage system
4 Recycling operations with buffer tank at the
end
5 Recycling operations with buffer tank at the
end and inlet into the drainage system
All 5 operation modes need different instal-
lations, see "Plant installation".

Î Turn the main switch to position "0"
Î Water must be drained out of the sys-
tem by opening the drain cock if the
plant is to remain idle for a longer time
or if there are frost conditions.

When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.
Only a well-maintained plant is safe. En-
sure that you carry out regular mainte-
nance tasks according to the following
maintenance plan.

– Risk of accident due to improper main-
tenance! Service and repairs may only
be carried out by authorised persons or
Kärcher Customer Service.
– Risk of injury! Never intervene in the re-
action tank when the plant has been
switched on or the stirrer is on.

Risk of electric shock.
– Before starting any work on the plant,
switch off the main switch and pull out
the plug.
– Switch off both the devices in case of
recycling operations with high-pressure
cleaner.
– The switching cabinet may only be
opened when the plant has been
switched off and separated from the
power supply.
Use exclusively original parts of the manu-
facturer or those parts recommended by
him. Observe all instructions on safety and
use which are accompanying these parts.
