Ethernet@WireSpeed
The Ethernet@WireSpeed feature enables the adapter with a twisted pair
copper interface to establish a link at a lower speed when only two pairs of
wires are available in the connected cable.
Note
This feature is valid only for copper ports. For fiber connectors, the
setting is always disabled.
To enable or disable the Ethernet@WireSpeed feature, do the following:
1. Access the Advanced Properties.
See “Accessing Advanced Properties” on page 43.
2. Select Ethernet@WireSpeed in the Property box.
The Ethernet@WireSpeed page is displayed as shown in Figure 20.

3. Select one of the following options:
 Disabled— The adapter tries to establish a link at 1000 Mbps.
