You can also place calls from your phone by speed dialing numbers from your Contacts using
your History listings and Voice Services.
Call from Logs
You can make a call directly from your History list.
1. Press > History.
2. Highlight an entry and press .
Note: You cannot make calls from History to entries identified as No Caller ID or Restricted.
Call from Contacts
You can dial phone numbers directly from your Contacts list.
1. Press > Contacts.
2. Highlight the contact you want to call and press to display the entry's contact
details.
3. Highlight a phone number and press .
Call a Number in a Text Message
While viewing a text message, you can place a call to a number that is in the body of the
message. For more information, see
Text Messaging and MMS .
1. Press > Messages > Messages.
2. Select the message that contains the phone number.
3. Highlight the phone number and press .
4. Highlight Call and press .
Call Emergency Numbers
You can place emergency calls to 911, even if your phone is locked or your account is
restricted.
Note: When you place an emergency call, your phone automatically enters Emergency mode.
