will alert you to new messages. Therefore you need to
retrieve new messages from your phone.
Retrieving a Text Message
When you receive a message in standby mode, the
message ringer sounds, (unless turned off), and New Text
Msg appears in the display along with the closed
envelope icon (
). The date and time of the message also
appear in the display.
1. Press the key to View now, or press the down
navigation key to highlight View later and press the
key. The message is saved to your inbox where you can
view it later.
2. Press the right soft key Options to open the
message, where you have the option to Forward, Erase,
Save Graphic, Save Sound, Save Quick Text, Add To
Contacts, Lock and Message Info.
3. Press the REPLY key to return a message to the
sender.
Voicemail
New voicemail alerts are sent via an SMS text message.
These messages indicate how many new and urgent
voicemail are in your box. When all voicemail has been
listened to, a message is sent notifying you there are zero
new messages waiting. Open the text message to view the
number of new and urgent voice messages in your
voicemail box. If a caller leaves a callback number, this
number will also be sent via an SMS text message.
