Sort by contacts
The Sort by contacts menu option allows you to set the sort function to alphabetize the contacts by First name or
Last name.
Delete all
This option allows you to delete all your contacts from the Phonebook.
Important!: Once Phonebook entries are deleted, they cannot be recovered.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Phonebook ➔ Management ➔ Delete all.
2. Use the navigation key to choose from All, Phone, SIM card, or SIM card(FDN), and then press the key to
add a check mark to the box next to the option.
3. Press the Delete soft key.
4. When the Delete? confirmation message displays, press the Yes soft key to delete or press No to cancel.
5. Press the Back soft key or the key to return to Idle mode.
Memory status
You can check how many names and numbers are stored in the Phonebook, within the Phone, the SIM, and the FDN.
You can also see the current storage capacity of the memory.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Phonebook ➔ Management ➔ Memory status.
2. Press the key to return to Idle mode.
Own number
This function is a memory aid, which you can use to edit or remove your own phone number. You can also edit the
default name assigned to your phone number.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu
➔
Phonebook
➔
Own number.
2. To edit, press the key. The cursor displays in the Name field.
3. Press the Down Navigation, press the key to erase the current entry, and type in a new number if
desired.
