2. Enter the first number in your equation using the keypad.
(Numbers can be up to 15 digits long, and can include a
decimal point followed by up to 5 digits.)
• Press to enter a decimal point.
• Press to change the sign for a number to a negative.
3. Press Operator to add parentheses [( )] to your equation or
to enter a Power exponent (^), such as, 3^2, which is the
equivalent of 3 2 .
4. Press the Clear soft key to clear current entries.
5. Use the Navigation keys (as shown in the Calculator
screen) to set the type of calculation that you wish to
perform. Your choices are as follows.
• [ + ] Addition
• [ x ] Multiplication
• [ - ] Subtraction
• [ ÷ ] Division
6. Use the keypad to enter the second number into your
equation.
7. Press to perform the calculation and view the result.
Stop Watch
You can use this function to set a
stop watch.
1. From the Tools menu, select
Stop Watch. The Stop Watch
screen appears in the display.
2. Press to start, stop, and
resume the Stop Watch count.
3. Press Record at the start of
each succeeding event/lap to
record the completion time for the previous event/lap. You
can record up to eight event/lap times.
4. Press Reset to reset the Stop Watch and to erase all Stop
Watch (lap) times recorded.
