“Auto Reply Message” and “Playback” can be programmed only when the optional VGS- board has
been installed.

After switching the power ON, press any key while the power-on text or unit
number is displayed to begin searching for a control channel.
• If no action is performed for 2 seconds, the transceiver will automatically begin searching
for a control channel.
• “---” appears on the sub-display and an arrow scrolls across the main display while the
transceiver is searching for a control channel.
• If more than one network is available, press the key programmed as
Network Select to
manually change networks.
