First step & Basic Operations
Before using this unit for the first
time
When this unit is first turned on, the
interactive menu appears for setting the
interface language (KDC-X8019BTL only)
and the Demonstration mode. This menu
disappears when no action is taken for 15
seconds.
For the KDC-X8019BT, start the procedure
with step 3. For the KDC-X8019BTL, start the
procedure with step 1.

Select the interface language to display
the Menu List mode, from English and
Persian.
Turn the [VOL] knob to select the
language, and then press the [VOL]
knob.

If you selected English in step 1, select
the language to display the audio file
information, from English, Arabic and
Thai. (Persian is automatically selected if
you selected Persian in step 1.)

Press the [VOL] knob to quit the
demonstration mode when the
messages “To Cancel Demo Press the
volume knob” are displayed (approx. 15
seconds).

Turn the [VOL] knob to select “YES”, and
then press the [VOL] knob.
The interface language and
demonstration mode can also be set
with the Menu List mode.

Adjusting the Clock

Press the [MENU] button to enter the
Menu List mode.

The item can be selected and
determined as follows.
”Settings”
➜ “Clock & Date” ➜ “Clock
Adjust”
To select the item, turn the [VOL] knob.
To determine the item, press the [VOL]
knob.

Turn the [VOL] knob to select hour or
minute, and then press the [VOL] knob.

Turn the [VOL] knob to adjust the hour
and minute.
To determine the item, press the [VOL]
knob.

Press the [MENU] button to finish the
clock adjusting.

Turn the [VOL] knob to select “Date
Adjust”, and then press the [VOL] knob.
7
Turn the [VOL] knob to select month,
date, or year, and then press the [VOL]
knob.
