Instructions
Battery Installation:
Transmitter
Transmitter comes with an E23A 12-Volt battery. To replace battery:
1. Remove small screw from back of case; carefully separate front and back.
2. Remove battery. Replace with E23A, MS21, V23 or equivalent (battery can be
found in most electronics and drug stores).
3. Attach front and back of case. Insert screw and tighten. Take care not to
overtighten.
Pager
Pager/receiver is powered by two “AA” 1.5-Volt alkaline batteries (not included).
To insert batteries:
1. To open battery door, press down on arrow and slide door off.
2. Insert batteries; note proper polarity.
3. Replace battery door.
To Activate Pager:
1. Turn Pager ON by sliding toggle switch to either “Vibrate”
or “Chime” mode.
2. Press button on Transmitter to signal Pager. Red LED light
on Transmitter will illuminate. Pager should alarm each
time you do this.
3. Check to make sure system works properly.
Change batteries AT ONCE if:
• Transmitter LED light is dull or fails to illuminate; or
• Pager signal is weak or tone is inaudible.
• Check signal range of Pager. 100 ft (30 m) is normal, but
may vary depending on building construction. Make
sure to stay in range at all times.
Warranty:
This product is warrantied for 30 days from date of first use.
