Preferences
You can set the following personal preferences in the Tools/Extras >>
Preferences menu. After you select your new preference, press the right
soft key to save it.
• Route Style – Ask Me Each Trip (to be prompted at every
new navigation session), Fastest, Shortest, Traffic
Optimized (to find the fastest route that minimizes current
traffic delays), Prefer Streets, Prefer Highway, or
Pedestrian.
• Traffic Alerts – On or Off. “On” allows audio and visual
traffic alerts to appear on the Moving Map if there is a
traffic incident on the route ahead.
• Distance Units – Miles/Feet or Kilometers/Meters.
• Moving Map – 3D or 2D moving maps. Select one as your
default navigation view.
• Nav Backlight – Always On or Device Settings.
• Audio Prompts – With Street Names, No Street Names,
or No Audio.
• Language – English (US) or Spanish.
• Region – North America.
• Call In Number – Use the toll-free “877” number for Calling
In an address.
• Help Cards – On or Off. Help cards prompt you with hints
or cautions about using various menu options. To clear a
help card from the screen, click OK.
Feedback
The Feedback menu gives you the following options so you can give us
your feedback about how TeleNav GPS Navigator is working for you.
• Usefulness - High, Medium, or Low
• Frequency - Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Less Often (less
than monthly)
• Speed - Was the speed of TeleNav GPS Navigator’s
response time Fast, Average, or Slow?
