Calendar and e-Mail Events
When a scheduled calendar event occurs, or an e-mail message
arrives while you are using TeleNav, a pop-up notification similar to that
shown on the right will appear. You can interact with the Calendar or e-
mail event by Opening it, or you can Dismiss it. If you Open the
application associated with the notification, TeleNav will be suspended
while you are interacting with the other application, but it will still be
navigating. However, if you get off route, TeleNav will not be able to
recover until you leave the other application. TeleNav does not use the
Nextel network while it is suspended.
6. Error Conditions
Unable to reach TeleNav server
You may see this message for several different reasons: a) your Nextel packet
data plan is not active, b) you are outside of Nextel coverage, c) the Nextel data
network is currently experiencing difficulties, or d) the TeleNav server is not
acknowledging your phone’s attempt to communicate. A reason number is
provided for us to use in assisting you should this problem persist. You should call
Nextel customer care at 800-639-6111 to see if it is a) through c), and TeleNav
customer care at 888-353-6284 to see if it is item d).
