repairs must be performed at AirSep’s Service Department. If
your Focus requires service, contact your Customer Service representative to
obtain an RGA and instructions for return to AirSep.
9.0 Troubleshooting

Unit does not turn on,
and AC power supply is
properly connected to a wall
outlet.
Wall switch power is off.
No power to unit.
Unit temperature has exceeded
battery operating temperature 5 to

C.
AC power supply is not properly
connected to Focus.
Defective AC power supply.
Turn on wall or outlet switch.
Reset household circuit
breaker.
Allow unit to cool before
starting.
Check connection from the
AC adapter to Focus.
Replace AC adapter.
Unit does not turn on, and DC
power supply is properly
connected to an automobile,
RV, accessory outlet.
No power at DC outlet
DC power supply is not connected
to accessory outlet or not connected
to Focus.
Defective DC power supply

Check fuse for DC outlet.
Connect DC power supply to
outlet of automobile after
ignition is started.
Replace power supply.
Return to AirSep.
General malfunction; alarm is
