1

The maximum number of enclosures per DMS varies, based on the number of hardware components in each enclosure.

2

The maximum number of VC Domains per DMS varies, based on the number of logical components (VC Networks,
Server Profiles, SAN Fabrics) and physical components (enclosures, interconnect modules, servers, and ports) in each
VC Domain.

3

Maximum number of servers supported from each type (Agentless, VMware, Linux) or from a mix of servers.

4

The HP Device Monitor Service v1.2 includes performance improvements to support multiple CPU cores. If a DMS uses
on average 50% of CPU in a 4-core system, the same configuration will use 25% of CPU in an 8-core system.

5

Minimum 12 GB system memory and 8 CPU cores recommended if monitoring mixed configurations of enclosures and
VC Domains. Up to 30 enclosures and 30 VC Domains are supported in the same DMS instance.
