Product Overview
Entry Level Media Manager (ELMM) is a product that allows auto cartridge loader
(ACL) tape drives to run unattended backups and restores. It allows manual interaction
with a GUI interface.
It can communicate with HP NonStop NS-series servers and Blade systems via
TCP/IP. With ELMM you can schedule backups and tape cartridges can be labeled.
shows the supported auto cartridge loader tape drives.
The Entry Level Media Manager software requires HP NonStop labeled tape
cartridges. In addition to being labeled magnetically, each tape cartridge must have a
special external label that displays the volume ID in both a standard OCR format and a
bar code.
