Stopping the Processes on the NonStop System
To stop the processes on the server, close the ELMM GUI and return to the TACL
prompt. Volume over to the location where the server files are installed.
Type OBEY STOP at the TACL prompt to stop the processes. A screen similar to
Figure 3-18 will appear.
Once all of the processes have been stopped, type STATUS *, PROG ELMM>.* at the TACL prompt to view all of the files again and make sure they have all
stopped. If nothing has been returned, all of the processes have been stopped. If a
status has returned on on the processes, the files have not been stopped.
