4. Remove the battery. (See Replacing a user-replaceable battery (select models only)
on page 48 ).
5. Disconnect the hard drive cable(1).
6. Loosen the 4 hard drive screws (2). Pull the hard drive tab (3) to the right to disconnect the hard
drive.
7. Lift the hard drive (3), and then pull the hard drive (4) out of the hard drive bay.
Installing a hard drive
NOTE: Your computer may look slightly different from the illustration in this section.
To install the hard drive:
1. Insert the hard drive into the hard drive bay, and then lower the hard drive flat into the hard drive
bay (1).
2. Pull the plastic tab (2) to the left to engage the hard drive with the connector.
