5. On the Add Device screen, complete the following information, and then press Enter on your
keyboard:
•
For Device number, type the device number.
•
For Number of devices, type the number of devices.
•
For Device type, type the PAV type.
Supported base device types: 3390B
Supported alias device types: 3390A
NOTE: The 3390A alias device and the 3390B base device are not related to the
3390-3A/B/C multiplatform devices.
•
For Description, type a description of the PAV device.
•
For Connected to CUs, type the CU to which the device is connected.
6. On the Device / Processor Definition screen, for Preferred Explicit Device, select the processor
ID/system combination that you want to change and then press Enter on your keyboard.
7. On the Define Device / Processor screen, complete the following and then press Enter on your
keyboard:
•
For Unit address, if the address is different than the last two digits of the device number,
type the unit address.
•
For Time-Out, select Yes or No.
