The endpoints in a Network must not appear in any other network, whether managed or
unmanaged.
Name
Each Network has a name represented as a string. This name will be displayed when the network
is imported into SPM. Within a NetworkResource, each Network must have a unique Name.
Network names are case sensitive.
ZoningState
Each Network has a ZoningState, which is of the enumerated type ZoningState. The values involved
may be Open or Zoned.
AddressPattern
Each network contains a sequence of zero or more AddressPattern objects.
Zone
A Zone object describes a zone within a SAN. Its name will be displayed in SPM.

Each Zone contains sequence of zero or more Endpoint objects. Endpoints within a zone may also
appear in the list of Endpoints within the network containing the zone. If an endpoint in a Zone
does not appear in the Network that contains it, SPM adds that endpoint to the list of endpoints

Name
Each Zone has a name, represented as a string. Zone names must be unique within the network
that contains them.
AddressPattern
Each network contains a sequence of zero or more AddressPattern objects. For more details on

Endpoint
An Endpoint object represents the end point of a connection between a host and a storage device
in a SAN. Networks that contain Endpoint objects cannot be edited within the SPM GUI.

A value from the NetworkEndpointKind enumeration, indicating the type
of the network.
NetworkEndpointKind
Kind
A string representing the network address of the endpoint, in a format
appropriate for the network type.

The Kind element of an Endpoint describes the network type of this connection. It is represented
as a value from the NetworkEndpointKind enumerated type. Although the NetworkEndpointKind
enumerated type mentions additional network types, SPM supports only Fibre Channel networks.
