BIOS
Configuration
Press to enter the main BIOS screen and check the following parameters
IDD HDD AUTO DETECTION
Select the setting that includes LBA mode
Press three more times and answer NO to each prompt.
STANDARD CMOS SETUP
Be sure primary type = user, mode = LBA, and reported drive size corresponds to
actual drive size.
Enter correct date and time
Set HALT ON to NO ERRORS
Set drive A to 1.44M, 3.5 in.
Set VIDEO to EGA/VGA
BIOS FEATURES SETUP
Boot sequence is C, A
Boot UP Num Lock is OFF
P/S2 mouse function is enabled
Exit to Main menu
CHIPSET FEATURES SETUP
Auto configuration is enabled
DRAM timings is 60ns
System cacheable is enabled
Video BIOS cacheable is enabled
Exit to Main menu
POWER MANAGEMENT SETUP
Power Management is disabled
Exit to Main menu
