5 Maintenance
5-1 Lubricating the Optional Blower
Blower and blower motor bearings require lubrication every
30 days. Use an NLGI Grade No. 2 grease, such as Chevron
Oil Co. grade SRI-2, or an equivalent.
5-2 Servicing the Filter
Cooling coils are equipped with a permanent filter. Make sure
that you check the filter periodically and clean it or replace it
as needed. To clean the filter, soak it in a detergent solution,
rinse in clean, cool water, and carefully shake it dry.

CAUTION
Do not blow off the filter with compressed air,
as you could damage the filter element.
Never run the cooler without the filter installed!

CAUTION
Before disassembly, make sure that the bulb has cooled to 25ºF (-4ºC)
or below. Use ice and salt to achieve this temperature.
Also make sure that flow through the valve and lines
has stopped before disassembly.
