IN-JAMB MOUNT WITHOUT MOUNTING PLATE
ADJUSTMENTS
Step 6
Sandwich PVC panel
between arm brackets and attach
using seven of the provided
bolts and acorn nuts as shown
in Figure M.
Alignment
If panels do not
align at the overlap, LOOSEN (do
not remove) the center adjusting
nuts shown in figure O.
Slide the plate to the left or right
to adjust the PVC panel. Once
the panels are lined up, tighten
the nuts.
NOTE: If door panels are too
long, the bottom of the PVC
panel can be trimmed using a
utility knife. 1/8” clearance
recommended.
Step 7
Slide assembled
door panel onto hinge and
bolt together using the
three remaining acorn nuts
and bolts provided.
NOTE: If side of PVC panel
rubs against jamb, try using
washers as spacers. Place
washers on each screw
between hinge and jamb.

Step 1
Remove mounting
plate from hinge by loosening
the two nuts on each side of
the hinge bracket. Refer to
Figure I.
Step 3
Place hinge on the
upper corner of the jamb as
close to the header as the hinge
will allow as shown in Figure K.
Mark the four holes with a pen
or marker.
NOTE: Make sure panel will
be able to move freely beneath
header of door with a minimal
gap.
Step 2
From INSIDE the
cooler/freezer measure 2 1/4 ”
and make a mark. Then draw
a plumb line to line up the hinge
on (see Figure J).
Step 4
Drill holes using a
5/32” drill bit.
Step 5
Place hinge on wall
and screw down tightly with
supplied
1/4 ” x 1 1/4 ” screws as
shown in Figure L.

Tension
If the door
is not returning to a
complete closed position,
the tension may need to be
increased.
To adjust the cam spring,
first loosen the lock nut
on the bottom of the
mounting bracket. Then,
using the allen wrench
provided, screw clockwise
to tighten or counter-
clockwise to loosen.

panel as shown in Figure M, using
the correct holes. The three holes
marked with arrows in the
illustration will be used to attach
the brackets to the hinge in the
next step.
