Device description
2.1 Scope of delivery
Delivery includes the measuring insert itself and the appropriate documentation.
2.2 Device description
The actual temperature sensor, either a Pt100 RTD or a thermocouple, is located in the
replaceable measuring insert. It is inserted through the open head into the thermometer fitting
and attached with two spring loaded M4 screws . The design, dimensions and other construction
features of the measuring inserts are standardized:

Inspect the cartons carefully for damage or signs of rough handling. Report damage to the
carrier and to the local office of the manufacturer.

CAUTION!
The sheaths on the measuring insert are made of stainless steel or Inconel 600
®
. Prior to
starting up the measuring inserts, observe the specifications in the corrosion tables (they are
accessible to the public and can be found, for example, in the Internet).
