REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1. Use your fingers or a non-metallic tool to remove the worn o-rings from the grooves.
2. Clean all mating surfaces with a swab or lint-free cloth.
3. Using your fingers, apply lubricant evenly to new o-rings.
4. Place the o-rings in the grooves. Remove excess lubricant.
GUIDELINES & PRECAUTIONS
•
Be careful not to transfer grease from your fingers to the pins in the cable
connector, or to the sensor connectors and sensor port connectors. Any
lubricant in these areas should be removed with a clean cotton swab.
•
Always use a dust cap to protect the o-ring and connector when cable is not
attached.
•
The kit includes sensor port plugs for deployments with fewer than 4
removable sensors installed.
