ApplicAtion
Converts RS-485 signals from the TROLL 9500 instrument to SDI-12 for
processing by an SDI-12 data recorder. May be located up to 200 ft (61 m)
from the data recorder. Minimum SDI-12 voltage (9.6 V) can power a TROLL
9500 on 170 ft (52 m) of cable; longer cables require a higher voltage supply.
The data recorder or an external power supply may provide power to the 12 V
line.
