The TROLL
®
Shield antifouling guard is designed to reduce fouling of the
conductivity cell on Aqua TROLL
®
100 and 200 instruments. Reduced fouling on
the sensor improves measurement accuracy and extends the length of instrument
deployments. For optimum performance, replace the coil every 6 months.

Loosen the black coupler, but do not remove it.
1.
Slide the guard over and past the nose cone so that it covers the conductivity cell.
2.
Align the guard so that water can flow freely through the copper wire and
3.
through the conductivity cell. Hold the guard and instrument up to the light to
make sure that water can freely pass through.
Tighten the black coupler.
