The Modbus Master Host should obtain the Number of Slaves from register 41001 so that it only polls
registers up to the last Slave in the FM’s group of SSC modules.
In large configurations, to get the best reporting time at the expense of more complex programming in the
Host, the FM offers a Report By Exception (RBE) scheme.
The RBE scheme does not have to be implemented or it can be implemented at a couple of complexity levels.
