GUN RECEIVER bUSHING
The Power Feed
® 10M Single Wire Feeder comes with
a K1500-2 gun receiver bushing, for use with the
Magnum gun with a K466-10 connector kit which .
The Power Feed ® 10M Single Wire Feeder Push Pull
model comes with a S25398 gun receiver bushing, for
use with the push pull gun. K2154-1 push-pull torch
connector kit is optional.
The bushing must be changed if the Power Feed ®
10M Single Wire Feeder is going to be switched from
the push set up to the push-pull set up or vise versa.
Spool Guns are not recommended with the Power
Feed
® 10M Single Wire Feeder.
MAGNUM GUN AND CAbLE ASSEMbLIES
The Power Feed
® 10M Single Wire Feeder model will
accept a number of optional gun and cable assem-
blies. An example of installing the Gun and Cable is
shown in Figure A.5a with a 15 ft. (4.6m) long
Magnum gun and cable.
1. Turn off power at the welding power source.
2. Unscrew Thumb screw on Wire Drive Unit, until tip
of screw no longer protrudes into gun bushing hole
as seen from the front of machine.
3. Fully insert the gun cable connector end into the
gun receiver bushing and gently tighten the thumb
screw as show in Figure A.5a below.
4. Connect the gun trigger connector to the trigger
receptacle. Make sure that the key ways are
aligned, insert and tighten retaining ring.
