Power supplies
An ICX 6450-C device has one standard power supply receptacle on the rear panel of the device for
the AC power cord.

AC power mode
The table below shows the device power usage and the PoE/PoE+ power configurations available to
PSE ports in the AC power mode.
When you use the AC power supply, PD is disabled. The only power to the system comes from the AC
power supply. In this mode, the ICX 6450-C device can provide PSE power through ports 1-4 to down-
stream devices. The total power available to the PSE ports (ports 1-4) is 68W.

When using the ICX 6450-C device to provide PoE/PoE+ power to down-stream devices, keep in mind
that the maximum allowed continuous power per cable depends on the standard being used, as
shown in the table below:
