RESOLUTION
Description
Pit Resolution measures the ratio of the Pit Average Amplitude (see paa measurement
description) of the smallest of the ‘nT’ pits or spaces in the data signal to that of the largest:

The low and high ‘nT’ values for performing the calculation must be provided by the user through the
associated measurement configuration options. The value shown is in units of percent. The
measurement calculation is compliant with the definition of Pit Resolution as defined by IEC
13549:1993 Section 15.3.1.
