PROBLEM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

E:1 will flash on the
temperature display and an
alarm will sound. The oven
stops heating up.

The oven door has not been
locked. The door is not
closed properly and cannot
be locked.

Touch any sensor to stop the
alarm. Check the door and
make sure that it is closed
properly.

E:1 will flash on the
temperature display and an
alarm will sound. The oven
stops heating up.

The oven door has not been
locked. The door lock has
not worked.

Touch any sensor to stop
the alarm. Call the Technical
Assistance Ser vice.

E:1 will flash on the
temperature display and an
alarm will sound. The oven
stops heating up.

The door cannot open but
the symbol

does not

come on.

Touch sensor – until the time
remaining for the door to
unlock appears on the clock
display. Call the Technical
Assistance Ser vice.

E:2 will flash on the
temperature display and an
alarm will sound.

You have opened the door
before it has been locked.

Touch any sensor to stop
the alarm. You will see the
time left before the oven
can be used again on the
display. When the display
shows 00:00, close
the door before
programming the pyrolytic
function again.

E:3 will flash on the
temperature display and an
alarm will sound.

You have opened the door
during the pyrolytic function.
The door lock has not
worked.

Call the Technical Assistance
Ser vice - your oven is
operating in potentially
dangerous conditions.
The door should be locked
when the pyrolitic function is
in operation.

E:4 will flash on the
temperature display and an
alarm will sound. The symbol

will appear lit up on the

display.

The door has been locked
without a pyrolytic cleaning
cycle being programmed.

Touch any sensor to stop the
alarm. The E:4 symbol will
continue to flash and the
time remaining until the door
is unlocked will be shown on
the display.

Touch any

sensor to turn off the E:4
reading. Call the Technical
Assistance Ser vice.
