PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. IMPORTANT! Due to the driver side mounting location of the Frame Bracket being too
close to the muffler, before starting the installation make sure the muffler is not hot.
3. Remove the factory tie down bracket located on the rear of passenger side frame rail
(Figure 1); you will not be re-installing it back onto the vehicle.
4. There are two threaded holes in the bottom rear of each frame rail, one in the driver and
two in the passenger inner side rear end frame rails. Position driver side Frame Bracket
on the frame rail and line up all three holes (Figure 2).
5. Partially hang driver side Frame Bracket from frame rail using the included (3) 12-1.25mm
x 40mm Hex Head Bolts (fine thread), (3) 12mm lock Washers, and (3) 12mm Flat
Washers (Figure 3 & 4).
6. Attach driver side Bumper Guard Bracket to already installed Frame Bracket using the
included (2) 12mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (2) 12mm Lock Washers, (2) 12mm Hex
Nuts, and (2) 12mm Flat Washers (Figure 5). Do not tighten at this time
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for passenger side.
8. Position Bumper Guard onto Mounting Brackets and attach it using the included (4) 8mm
x 20mm Hex Head Bolts, (4) 8mm Lock Washers, and (4) 8mm Flat Washers (Figure 6).
9. Adjust Rear Bumper Guard properly; and then tighten all hardware at this time.
10.Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and
tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended
to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain
abrasives that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the
finish. Mild soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the product.
