PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. CUTTING IS REQUIRED.
2. NOTE: Determine if the vehicle is equipped with factory mud flaps. Sidebar installation may not be
compatible with factory mud flaps.
3. Start installation under the driver side of the vehicle. Remove the front and middle section of the plastic
splash guard, (Figures 1A, 1B & 2). Place the splash guard on a clean, stable work surface. Use a
hack saw or utility knife
to cut out an opening 2” x 3-1/2” on the middle splash guard as pictured. Cut a
1- 1/2” x 1-1/2” opening in the front guard as indicated in Figure 2. Reinstall the splash guards using the
factory fasteners. NOTE: Hold Brackets in position on vehicle to determine area necessary to cut from
splash guards.
4. Insert (1) 12mm x 30mm Bolt Plate into the factory hole in the inner frame rail located next to the front
tie down loop, (Figure 3).
