1.2. New features compared to SE4-Plus series (with EDM function)
With respect to SE4-Plus (EDM) series, the SG4-B safety light
curtain series presents new important features:
 Higher operating distance
 Shorter response time (see sect.10 “Technical Data”)
 Range enlargement with 150 to 1800 mm controlled heights
 New profile compatible with SE accessories
 New fastening system with rotating brackets
 TEST line with reversed activation logics (active high)
 Advanced alignment for receiver and transmitter units
Furthermore, SG4-B has 2 selectable functions, i.e.:
 EDM function
 Manual/automatic Restart
