2. Rotate and lower the internal assembly back
into the computer’s case (Figure 13).
3. Lock the internal assembly latches into their
original position (Figure 14).
4. Rotate the plastic cover onto case (Figure 15).
5. Replace the case cover onto your computer
(Figure 16).
6. Affix the Powered by Sonnet label to the front
of your computer. Return the computer to your
computing area and reconnect the power and
peripheral cables to the computer.
Turn On Computer
1. Turn on your Power Macintosh. Your newly
accelerated machine should boot as normal.
2. If you are installing an Encore/ZIF G4, see
Chapter 6, “Upgrading to Mac OS 9.x and a
G4” for information about enabling AltiVec
extensions in Mac OS and application software.
