Removing Filter and Sorbent from Cartridge
For Laboratory Use Only
1. Remove
fi lter and sorbent(s) from cartridge.
2. Combine for extraction.
3. a. For XAD-2 sorbent: Use procedure outlined in EPA TO-13A,
Section 12.2.
b. For PUF sorbent: Use procedure outlined in EPA TO-9A,
Section 12.1.
Analysis
TO-13A: Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS)
TO-9A: High resolution gas chromatography/High resolution mass
spectrometry (HRGC/HRMS)
