5. With an adjustable wrench, remove the cable
fitting from the upper plate assembly.

6. Push the cable connector through the threaded
hole in the upper plate assembly. Some side to
side movement of the connector may be required.

1. Perform steps 1 through 6 from "Cable
Removal" section in reverse order.

2. Connect the cable to the applicator. Reference
the appropriate applicator manual for further
information.

1. Install new PC board into place. The PC board
can only be positioned on the standoffs one way.
Be sure to install the spacer under the PC board as
shown in Figure 4.

2. Perform steps 1 through 5 from "PC Board
Removal" in reverse order.

Each of the connectors is keyed in

such a way that there is only one way for
assembly. Also, each connector is de-
signed only to fit together with the proper
mating connector.

Prior to performing any maintenance on

the AVIATOR, all electrical circuits must be
de-energized. Be sure that the supply air is
completely disconnected from the unit and
the unit removed to a non-hazardous loca-
tion for service.

the AVIATOR, the cable is not removable
by a connection outside the AVIATOR.

1. Perform "Removal of Generating Unit from
Enclosure" procedure in the "Maintenance" section.

2. Perform "Generating Unit Disassembly"
procedure in the "Maintenance" section.

3. Remove the explosion proof cylinder from the
upper plate by turning the cylinder counter-
clockwise.

4. With the upper plate assembly separated from
the rest of the unit, disconnect the PC board
connector from the cable connector.
