Once the AVIATOR has been connected to a
regulated air source, you are ready to begin
spraying. Apply 50 psig (3.4 bar) air pressure to
the inlet of the AVIATOR while the unit is running.
To start the AVIATOR, slide the sleeve of the on/
off valve upwards until the sleeve clicks into
position. At this point, the AVIATOR should begin
running.
The AVIATOR will not produce voltage until the
applicator is actuated. The AVIATOR produces
voltage on demand. This means that there is very
little delay time from the time the applicator is
triggered until full electrostatic voltage at the tip of
the applicator is achieved. When the applicator is
actuated, the speed of the motor will decrease
slightly.
